Vietnam is an incredible country with a rich history, natural wonders, and a vibrant culture. Except for a brief layover en route in Tokyo, Japan, Vietnam was my first introduction to the continent of Asia.
It’s also got a world of unique culinary dishes to explore, with Chinese, French, and South Asian influences. And, like many countries in Asia, there’s an endless array of fun and exciting things to experience and do.
Vietnam’s popularity as a top tourist destination is growing. It’s also an excellent place to travel on a budget — safe, affordable, and endlessly rewarding.
